Reverse‑Engineered Gas Stove Knob

A customer came in with a broken gas stove knob — a small but essential part. The original manufacturer no longer supplied spare parts, meaning the only official solution was to buy an entirely new stove.

Instead, DK34 reverse‑engineered the original geometry, recreated the internal locking mechanism and produced a fully functional replacement knob. A precise, durable and cost‑effective solution that brought the appliance back to life.

This project demonstrates how reverse engineering can solve real‑world problems — restoring functionality, avoiding unnecessary waste and saving the customer from a costly full replacement.
